I weighed in this morning at 280 lbs. A four pound week is great. This is the first week where I actually felt like I lost something. I tightened my belt up one notch this morning. That was nice. The sugarless life is not as painful as you might think. But the longer I am sugar free, the worse effect sugar has on me when I do have it. I noticed this week that even after having something like ketchup (which has considerable sugar in it) my cravings would go through the roof. The cravings come witha progressively more violent vengence the longer I do this. They’re psychological for the most part, and I suppose eventually they will subside. But right now, they’re actually a pretty good warning system. If the cravings hit me, then I know that whatever I just ate had a higher sugar content than I thought. Those of you who have encouraged me, thanks a million!
