About Shane

First off, you may be wondering why my web site is called Shane’s Shack. When I first moved to Colorado, I lived in the small shack in the parking lot of our church. Some people affectionately called it Shane’s Shack. That phrase has always stuck with me and had special meaning. I may no longer live in that shack, but the shack lives on in cyberspace!

Next to salvation, my wife, Radene, and two daughters, Phoebe and Ayva have been God’s most beautiful and constant blessing in my life, and will continue to be so. Leading worship is my passion and the calling upon my life. Authenticity is far more important than a well contrived worship event. I would rather sing with 10 people who truly worship, than worship in front of 500 who just came for the show. Worship is life, and anyone who thinks differently hasn’t seen Jesus in His majesty and splendor. My goal is to help the church become authentic, passionate worshipers of Jesus Christ who are not satisfied with playing church, but actually being the church.
